Erik is Managing Partner of Oxford Financial Partners, a premier fee-only wealth management firm. As managing partner, Erik is responsible for the strategic direction and future growth of the firm. Erik leads a team of talented individuals at Oxford and leverages their expertise in portfolio design, retirement income distribution, estate planning and tax reduction strategies to design innovative solutions for current and prospective clients.
Erik is the creator of Power of 5 Investing®, a unique system for helping clients towards achieving retirement success. He has appeared in national publications including Money and Forbes and has been listed as a Five Star Wealth Advisor multiple times in Cincinnati Magazine.
Erik has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional certification and is a certified public accountant (CPA). He received his MBA in finance from Indiana University and completed his undergraduate studies at Miami University with dual majors in finance and accountancy.
Erik’s two decades of professional experience has included key roles for leading companies including Procter & Gamble, Deloitte & Touche and the Western & Southern Financial Group. He is a past president of the Financial Planning Association of Greater Cincinnati and has served on the local board of the Miami University Alumni Association. Erik was selected to the prestigious C-Change program sponsored by the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, a program dedicated to improving the image and quality of life in Cincinnati.
Erik and his wife Holli live in Greenwood Village, Colorado, with their two children, a rescue dog and a mixed breed dog. They are members of Colorado Community Church in Denver. Holli’s career includes nearly 20 years in marketing and brand management with Procter & Gamble, and she continues with her own marketing and strategy consulting firm today. In his spare time, Erik enjoys all that the Colorado outdoors has to offer and is an avid fan of his children’s many athletic and artistic pursuits.
